MOON MASSACHUSETTS HANDBOOK
 Moon Travel Handbooks most recent edition is their Massachusetts Handbook by Jeff Perk. Including Boston, the Berkshires, and Cape Cod, this new travel guide is beautifully crafted with historical tidbits, surprising photographs -- would you believe a picture of Jack Kerouac not previously seen anywhere by this editor -- and journeys across the landscape of Cape Cod. I love Cape Cod. In fact I wrote a story about it titled The Distant Listener which describes a trip I took to Marconi's beachside transcontinental telegraph station. Jeff Perk describes it this way, "In 1903, President Thoedore Roosevelt sent greetings to King Edward VII of England via the magic of Guglielmo Marconi's wireless telegraph- a historic event made possible by an enormous set of radio masts erected two years earlier at this Wellfleet cliff." Well said! Lots more in this book. Excellent!
Evelyn Hannon has done it again. An excellent guide for traveling to Holland. "Netherland Notes by women for women." Well designed. An eye catcher. Worth reading and saving.
